Apprentice - Concrete Forming Carpenter

We are currently seeking an Apprentice Concrete Forming Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced carpenters and assist with the construction of concrete forms for various projects. The candidate should have a basic knowledge of construction materials and techniques, and be willing to learn and improve their skills.

Assist with the installation of concrete forms for walls, slabs, columns, and other structures.

Prepare and clean construction sites before and after projects.

Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, and plastic materials.

Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.

Assist in pouring concrete into forms to create concrete structures.

Assist with the removal of forms and the cleaning of the job site after project completion.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of construction materials and techniques.

Willingness to learn and improve skills.

Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
