Crane Rigger

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Rigger to join our team in the concrete forming industry. The Crane Rigger will be responsible for rigging and moving heavy materials, equipment, and machinery using cranes and other lifting devices. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, be able to work well in a team, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Review work orders and blueprints to determine materials, equipment, and tools needed for each job.

Rig and move heavy materials, equipment, and machinery using cranes and other lifting devices in accordance with established safety standards.

Ensure that all rigging equipment is properly maintained and inspected on a regular basis.

Communicate with crane operators and other team members to ensure that all lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Assist with the installation and removal of concrete formwork, as needed.

Inspect and maintain all rigging equipment, including slings, shackles, hooks, and other hardware.

Keep accurate records of all rigging activities, including the use of all equipment and materials.

Ensure that all rigging activities are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a Crane Rigger in the concrete forming industry.

Knowledge of rigging techniques and principles.

Ability to read and interpret work orders.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.

Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
